I've been getting a lot of the same questions recently, so I decided to finally get around to making an FAQ page. READ THIS BEFORE YOU EMAIL ME!!! Once there's an FAQ up, there is no excuse for me getting these sorts of emails!
Q: Will you host my site?
A: No, I'm sorry. I only hosted Julia's page because she is a very good online friend (and anyways, she has her own domain now). I only hosted the SUML because I had been a member of the ML for over a year and wanted to do something special for it. I'm not going to host anyone else. I hate turning people down, but, that's that.
Q: Will you make a layout for me?
A: No, I won't do that either. I've volunteered to make people layouts, and in the end, never got around to it. So I don't really think that I would be a good candidate to make you a layout anyway.
Q: Will you help me with (random HTML problem)?
A: I suck at explaining things, and I'm not an HTML expert. So I suggest going to a nice place like HTMLgoodies.com instead of asking me.
Q: Do you want to exchange links? OR Will you link me?
A: Well, I hate to say it, and I don't want to sound mean, but no. I only link sites I want to link, sites that are my personal favorites. I won't let myself be pressured into linking a site, just because I don't want them to become offended. Don't think it's because I hate your page.
Q: Your layout looks like crap.
A: Well, I'm sorry. Haruka.nu is designed for a computer with the settings of a 800x600 desktop size (it looks okay on anything higher, though, but not lower) and lots of colors (mine is set on 32 bit). So if it looks bad, it's your computer, because it looks fine on mine. I'm not trying to be mean, but I really don't want to make about fifteen versions of my site for all of those different settings. I hate it when people email me, whining that my webpage looks like a bug on a windshield to them and I suck because of it. Anyway, most webpages out there are designed for the same type of settings that I design mine for. It's not that I think you should be shot for having different settings than me, I just don't have enough time to make different versions of my site.
Q: Your page loads too slow!
A: Once again, probably your computer. I've checked with different online friends, and they all say that it loads pretty fast for them. Sorry.
Q: Will you be my sister site?
A: Thank you for asking, but no, I'm sorry. I'm only sister sites with good friends.
